Post-Jam version in development
Hello delvers,
It has been just over a week since releasing my submission at the very end of the one page rpg jam, The general sentiment has been it is a couple of potentially interesting ideas, short of even a game with "good bones" and I agree. However I want to move forward and see if I'm able to polish it into something more substantial and cohesive while also dipping my toes into the TTRPG scene.
The post-jam version will come in the further-than-closer future as a playtest to see if there's interest and help look for flaws. A lot is still up in the air but I have a couple of changes already fairly locked in:
- It will be longer than one page.
- You will play as a lone delver with different build options. The theme of being a crew didn't add much and this helps with some character customization and journaling elements.
- The 'judgement' system will be changed to something less awful. Caring about the distance from a target number is important in push your luck and success/failure with complications systems, but the way it was done for the jam was rushed, overly complicated, and had worldbuilding stuffed in for no reason.
If you come across this page and find this interesting, drop a follow to see when the new version comes out. Until then, keep surviving.
